Aged Care Worker
- Responsibilities: daily living assistance, mobility support, health monitoring, emotional support, household tasks and often work in aged care facilities, nursing homes, or provide in-home care.
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Certificate IV in Aged Care, First Aid Certificate and mandatory Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Annual Salary Range: AUD 45,000 to AUD 65,000, depending on experience and location
Disability Care Worker
- Responsibilities: daily living assistance, mobility support, skill development, social integration, health monitoring and usually work in residential care facilities, community centers, or provide in-home support.
- Qualifications: certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), Certificate IV in Disability Care, First Aid Certificate, mandatory Police and Vulnerable People Checks, and practical experience through placements or similar roles.
